This is the first time I've tried this, so we'll see.
Attached is link to the the first of two albums of photos.

Special thanks to Randy Bauer and Eric Jones for adding their photos to the album. I may not have gotten everything in the right order, but I think the weekend is pretty well captured.

David -

Great job! Can't wait to see the second album. You've done a great job of capturing the event, especially the shots you did working without a net on the railing. Eek

Nice shots, David,

Y'all make sure you get a good look at the veneer on that conference table. Also, the rough cut maple that looked like it was three dimensional without even being sanded, let alone finished and polished.

Ignore my beer storage device hidden under my shirt.

Hit the link again, Jim - I changed it. For some reason, after busting my ass to get the photos in order at least by even, when I uploaded them, they went in reverse order. So I tried a slideshow, which ended up being too small for all the pix, then a re-mix (without music),, which holds everyithg in order.

ENJOY, and all of you should come next year!!!

Great Job !! - Thanks for all your hard work in getting these uploaded. Steve McCreary borrowed my camera and took the pic of everyone swapping guitars outside at the Salt Lick.

Is there a trick to playing the slideshow? The Photobucket window opens for me, but then it just sits there loading...

Editing this post once again: I'm not disappointed with what David has done with these pictures. On the contrary! It's an excellent slide show and he put a lot of work into arranging it. Thanks David! I was just commenting on my own misunderstanding and mental dullness.

Great pics! Wish I could have been there. What a very handsome bunch of... guitars Smile

By the way, what was the bridgeless sunburst jumbo lying in the case?

And does the Kalamazoo KG-14 in Bill's car have any significance on the design of the C-10?!

That is Steve McCreary's early mahogany archtop...the one in the ads campaign here. He said he found it in a store and bought it. He didn't mention or didn't know the year it was made, but the headstock and inlay was not the current standard.

Thanks! I wasn't aware of that one. Very cool guitar... I've always liked roundhole archtops.

Randy and Eric both had great captions on all their shots that didn't upload into the slideshow. I'll spend some time over the next few days figuring out if I can add them. The descriptions are good, the commentary great, and I don't want to leave them out. That way, all mystery guitars like Steve's, all the headstocks and several of the drunks will be more clear.

I resemble that remark! Smile

Who was the daredevil who got the aerial shot of the Bastard Sons on the deck?

Perhpas the dumbest of all the drunks. Someone must have stolen my camera.

Sorry guys, can't figure out how to add captions to the pictures. Keep posting questions, though, if you'd like to konw about any of the shots, and someone who was there or behind the camera will answer.
