Several questions:
If we bring beer to the Salt Lick Barbecue, what flavor do people like? I'll have a few extra bottles.... How well do people play, and is there any particular style of music? I was thinking of boning up on my Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen and maybe a couple of Broadway show tunes..... Any idea how many will be showing up? If there's a longest distance travelled award, I'm driving down from Atlantic City!! By the way, some folks might want to put Poodie's Hilltop on the agenda.... Norman (Which Collings To Bring??) I'll drink just about any kind of beer if someone else is paying for it.
Playing abilities vary fairly widely. There'll be some bluegrass pickers in the crowd. Some classic rock players. Some folk and country too. Play whatever you like. No awards. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Allen White, |

No promises on how many will be there either. I never hear from everybody, so there's always some surprises and some no-shows. I expect at least a dozen. Just look for the tables with all the guitar cases. I'll also bring a big cooler, and I bet we can talk Allen into the same, to store whatever beer gets brought, whether it's Shiner Bock or some import.

Any chance of another workshop this year? I'm still working on the stuff from last year. ~Shawn 2002 D1A Vintage |
