Time for me to get to work on the next gathering. Last fall, we held some discussion about making the date regularly the second weekend of November. I've also had a few requests for a Spring gathering instead. So either we stick with the annual fall gathering, or we alternate fall and spring.
KDD and Steve McCreary have both responded that either would work for them.

Question:
Forgetting about the long range plan, when would you like the next gathering?

Second week of November
Spring, sometime in March.

 

I truly loved the Spring Thing as it coincided with WSW. Music and goodtimes to be had all over town. Rockerbob and I rode all over town stopping at Music Stores, Record Shops, Night Clubs and the food wasn't bad either. Truth be told we haven't been back since, I think we're both afraid that there might be Warrants out there with our names on them.

Whatever the masses decide I'm going to try my damdest to make it this time.

I voted for November only because I can't wait all the way until the Spring for another one. I had a blast at the last one, and I was only there for a few hours on the first day!

Thanks David for organizing it again! This deserve a seperate forum, right at the top of the page! I vote for March because there will be chances that I plan my annual vacation in Texas!

Ed, whenever you come, we'll have a gathering no matter what or when!

Right now the popular vote is leaning to November. But I will do it all again if you come down in March!

I'm just clearing a few things with our hosts beofre I post a formal final date. Stay tuned....

I got the green light to attend for the 1st time !!. One issue - my wife has a business trip that she must book soon that may coincide with Nov date. I prefer November. Any idea how soon the date will be firmed up ? Right now I told her to plan on me being gone 2nd weekend in November.
