How cool is this - it looks like my new short scale C10 with 'burst is going to be ready to pick up at the factory on Friday during the gathering.

That is cool! Of course you're going to let the rest of us play it, right? Smile

I've been holding out to the last minute, but it's starting to look like I'm not going to be able to get away tomorrow. Please give my regards to all the wonderful folks at Collings.

I hope you guys have a great weekend.

Bill -
Any chance you can meet us on Saturday? We are definitely going to the Kinscherff shop - I just haven't heard from him yet on the time. I'll call him some time tomorrow, then post tomorrow night. With luck, it won't be too early in the morning. We've got a killer porch to play and swap guitars on for Saturday afternoon, too. Hope you can make it.
David

Ed - Here's the specifics - it's a short scale, Gibson-style sunburst on a spruce and mahogany C10. It also has the wider neck - the OM style with slight V-shape. Brian had it ready for me when my wife and I walked into the factory this morning just before the Gathering arrived. A very cool beast which I'm looking forward to exploring in more depth tomorrow. It seems to be a fingerstyle dream - with just a bit of the sloppiness/bluesiness I like in the shorter scale.

All my best to the "Gatherers" I met today - I'm just sorry we had to head back before tomorrow's jam sessions. And my thanks to Bill Collings, Brian, Steve, Bruce, and all of his fine crew for a absolutely great day!
