How about a Roll Call right here in this thread of all of those planning to attend the Gathering in 2 weeks? I'll start.

My running count is up to 12 - so let's hear form you for confirmations. Papple? Schwenman?MaRio? Duolian? I'm in, and I may even bring a friend or two.

I'm sorry to say I'll be in Florida while everyone is enjoying the 2nd. Forum Gathering. I'm really bumming on this so have a great time and hoist a cold one for those of us who can't make it.

Geez - took that long to get rid of George. At least we won't have to put up with his fresh mouth.
But then again, who can we goad and tempt into buying a "second" Collings straight from the factory? See you next year, George!

My wife and I will attend along with John Johnson a local guitarist and luthier

It's been said that growing old is realizing you'll never have all the dogs or guitars you want.

Okay, I'm fired up. I'm taking a vacation day Friday and I got a kitchen pass for most of Saturday. I can chow and drink some cold ones with youse guys Friday night. Maybe some good bbq or TexMex? Anyway, are we planning to jam/guitar swap anywhere Friday or Saturday? David, are you going to bring your G&L along? Maybe Saturday we can take the 'lectrics to Kevin's shop and try out his amps. Cool

There's still a few details pending for Sat and Sunday, hope I can post tomorrow, Wednesday latest. They will revolve around Kevins' shop, though. As to restaurants, Loco Maria's was suggested for lunch Saturday, and the rest are up in the air -- we'll defer to local judgment and the direction of the wind, maybe the best looking live scene.

If we're down around Wimberley Saturday it might be best to eat down there somewhere at lunch.

Also, there's a bbq or catfish place in Wimberley that has a bluegrass jam on Friday nights. That might be a good place for us to go once we finish up at Collings. Kevin knows the name of the place.
