Well there's no turning back now because I just purchased an airline ticket to Austin arriving around noon on Friday, Nov. 10th. Just have to figure how to bring my Clarence White as a carry-on. I'm a bit paranoid about the prospect of having to check it in as baggage if they won't let me carry it on.

Looking forward to seeing you all and doing a lot of playing and maybe even drinking a beer or two!

I'll tell you, folks, y'all are gonna have a great time at the the jam at Quincy's guitars. I just got back from our monthly jam (1st Thurs of every month) and it was a blast! I can't remember when I've had so much fun. I have made some really good friends at this jam. Pat, the owner of Quincy's, is an excellent host and all around great guy. I feel lucky to call him my friend. Anyway, the gathering should be great. Thanks to David for putting it all together. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm pretty sure I can make some of it if not all. Driving from Georgetown and looking forward to it! Mark.
