Friday, as so well summarized by Will:

Breakfast Kerbey Lane South Lamar 8-8:30Am
Collings Tour 10:30 AM
Lunch at Maria's after tour
Steve James Clinic at Collings 4-5:00 PM

We'll see how much time we have for lunch, to determine where we eat.

Saturday

We are confirmed to go to Kinscherff - though I don't have the time yet. He has a customer picking up a guitar on Saturday, and wanted to schedule us around that. I'm hoping late morning. We'll meet at Hill Country Guitar, if not at another breakfast. Jamie Kinscherff extended another neat offer - he's a naturalist, and lives on a 800+ acre ranch, and he offerred to take us on a walk to share with us and some of the out-of-town guys some of the wonders of Texas Hill Country.

I figure after Kinscherff, back to HCG to sniff around Kevin's shop. After that, I have a line on a good porch overlooking the Cypress creek in Wimberly, not 1/2 mile from Kevin's.

Sunday - Kevin is trying to surprise us with a singer songwriter workshop, but he's had several people back out at the last minute. Our fingers are still crossed. I'm bringing some maps to area spots of guitar/music interest, to help anyone who wants to run around during any of the weekend. then of course there's the Tommy Emmanuel concert on Sunday night.

Allen, could you bring maps to Austin guitar stores worth visiting? There's 12 (or 15, if some of the screen names and real names overlap) of us, but lots of us are local. If you just make 5 or so maps...

With the help of others, I tried to schedule just a couple of things a day - leave the rest of the day for exploring or playing wherever we find a good spot.

Allen, I'll bring the G&L and my amp, and an extension cord. I'll also bring my two acoustics (the baby Taylor to share with anyone who couldn't travel with their Collings).

I'm starting to wake up at night thinking of things I ought to add - and just kind of pumped about going. I really need to get out more.

10-4 on the maps. I'll print some out tomorrow and make some copies.
