First I'd like to thank Allen, Keith, and th guys from Collings for such a great time. It was a pleasure to meet all the other forumites and share the music, guitars, etc.
I'm sorry I was unable to catch up with you all at Art'z but I sold a guitar to a friend which will help immensely with financing the Huss & Dalton which should ship sometime this week. The baby back ribs were great.
Although unable to reconnect with the forumites we were able to play guitars until the wee hours in Manchaca. The wake up Bloody Mary's at the Continental Club on Saturday AM were just what I needed. We got invited to Lee Ann Atherton's Barn Dance and Hoe Down on Sunday with 15 bands which was also enjoyable.
It was sure nice to meet you good people and great pickers. I will have to return to the Collings factory to take the tour again it was certainly one of the most interesting tours I've ever been on and sensory overload for someone with guitar building GAS like I have.
Thanks again to all of you who organized this great time. I highly recommend this to all the others who were unable to attend this time. -Will-

It was great to meet you. I'm sure the H&D will be nice, but didn't the tour make you want to buy a Collings?

Of course it did! I had Collings GAS before the tour, now it's a lot worse. I need a job and a GAS support group or guitar intervention or something. I've spent close to $20K this year while looking for work. HELP!
What time did you guys leave Art'z? I really wanted to spend more time with the group. Allen told me around 6PM at Art'z when I left to get my guitars. I ended up selling the Martin I wanted Bryan to look at to a friend on the way to Art'z. I think we got there a little after 7PM. The place was packed, we ate on the patio listening to a band inside while the following acts warmed up on the next patio. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and especially the tour. I'll do it again in a heartbeat.
