Any Chris Smither fans out there? He'll be appearing at the annual Wildflower Festival in Richardson, Texas, May 16-18. Chris actually plays that Sunday afternoon on the Singer Songwriter Stage.

Some of you may know that Chris plays a custom Collings 12-fret cutaway, and plays it amazingly well. Collings will be well-represented as a sponsor this year, as Bill and Steve are donating a new OM-2H as first prize in the Singer Songwriter competition. (Some of you guys might want to enter that one.)

Wildflower is one of North Texas' best-kept secrets and well worth attending. A few of the other artists--Steve Fromholz, Slaid Cleaves, Albert and Gage, Tom Kimmel, Kathy Matea, Pat Benatar, Blue Oyster Cult, The Guess Who, and America

I have tickets for Chris on The Patriots Stage at the Trenton War Memorial on May 15th. Small and intimate venue that seats ~200. I've seen Rory Block, Tom Rush and Peter Rowan/Tony Rice at this hall. Should be a memorable night.
