Is anyone from this forum attending? I'll have a booth there and, in addition to select vintage items, will be bringing every Collings and Huss & Dalton I have in-stock. As of today, that looks like:

Collings:
- OM1, stock
- D2HA, 1 3/4
- C10, Koa/Cedar, 1 3/4
- SJ Cutaway, all over sunburst, Waverlys
- CJ, Sunburst, 1 3/4
- D1A, 1 3/4 (picking up Friday)
- OM2HSB, 1 3/4 Abalone Rosette (picking up Friday)

Huss & Dalton:
- TD-M, stock
- TD-M Custom, Vintage neck, Adirondack top
- OM, stock
- DS, stock

If you're attending, please stop by the booth and introduce yourself. It's always good to put faces with screen names.

I do see Willis occasionally. He doesn't come into town much. My "regulars" are Ray Wylie Hubbard, Allejandro Escovedo, Jeff Plankenhorn, and Andrew Hardin (Tom Russell's band), Susan Gibson and Mason Rufner. And luthiers Tony Nobles and Jamie Kinscherff, as well as several Collings employees. It's kinda weird how all these people ended up in this little town on the way to no where. Rupert Neve, of analog audio console fame, and the developer of Taylor's Expression pickup system, also lives here. The new age people will tell you it's vortexes and such...maybe because it's one of the last places in Texas without a WalMart...who knows.

Wimberley is the coolest place on the planet. Cool Willis played at the sons of Hermann Hall in Deep Ellum in Dallas about a month ago. Played a combination of new and old.

He has an old Martin D 18 and uses a thumb and set of fingerpicks and really "pulls" on that big dread.

I might have another MT by then, but I'm not holding my breath. My guess is that I'll get it a few weeks from now. The last one I got sold in a few days.
