Any Forum members going to this? I'd like to meet you if you're there.

I have been going for the past 7 years. It's held at the Music City Sheraton. I can't believe how some folks don't even know about this. It's 3.5 days of workshops and mini-concerts (10am to almost midnight). Almost every year, the following artists are there (playing, teaching, and hanging out with us): Tommy Emmanuel, Muriel Anderson, Laurence Juber, Pete Huttlinger, Stephen Bennett, Guy Van Duser, Richard Smith, John Knowles, Jim Nichols, Michael O'Dorn, and many more. You need to go at least once, to experience something you will never forget.

There is the "Tribute to Chet Atkins" party/concert the day before it all starts. I will proudly play my OM1A at the concert. I think I'm the only one in the whole convention who might be playing a Collings. Anyway, here is the poster for the concert I was invited to play at. Smile

Ace,

That's really cool to be on that poster! We'll expect a report and film at 11. I might like to attend CAAS sometime, but I don't think they'd let a flatpicking hack in. Big Grin
