Greetings to all my new friends I met in Austin. I left town Sunday morning intending to take a easy 2 day drive but 18 .5 hours later I'm back home. I got to sleep in my own bed and now I can lounge around and take care of some long over due buisness. It's hard to believe that 12 people can meet on the internet and actually get along and have a great time. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and value the new friends I met in Austin.
The Collings people at the factory are unreal and they really went out of the way to make us feel at home. I definitly have no regrets on making the trip. I also have to thank everyone who helped to put this thing together, everything went smooth and there was still time for exploring Austin on our own. I hope to see everyone again and hope I can make the next gathering.

George,

I'm glad you made it. It was great to meet you. I had a lot of fun checking out the guitar shops with you.

I agree, it is surprising a dozen strangers from the web can end up being such a great group of people. Not to mention the nice guitars!

Make sure you let me know when you come through Denver.

George it was nice meeting you too. If you ever catch up to Matt Chambers say hey from Will at Full Throttle. Another thing when looking for him DO go to Abita Springs and visit the brewery. They make a beer called Purple Haze that's great.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.
