AFG (Assoc. of Fingerstyle Guitarists) based in L.A. has a quarterly one-day event with workshops and performances. This month, it's a two-day (next weekend, Jan. 13-14). Pete Huttlinger played there last time and both Muriel Anderson and Laurence Juber are frequent guest artists. I'm playing a solo set(other member players are also playing that afternoon) on Saturday the 13th at 2pm. My 000-2GC will be with me. The AFG is a good group to be a part of. Membership is cheap and they hold nice quarterly gatherings. It's a good way to "network" with other players too. Jeff Linsky is the headliner for Saturday night and Michael O'Dorn is playing on Sunday night.
