Anybody within driving distance of Central Illinois please take note..... I'll be playing an acoustic duo show with Steve "The Harp" at Mackinaw Valley Vineyard this Saturday eveniing Sept. 1st, 7:00 - 10:30 PM. This is a fantastic outdoor venue with a great view of the Mackinaw River Valley with a lake behind the stage and a gazeebo you can walk out onto in the middle of the lake. Steve and I will be the first duo ever to play the main stage here. Help us make it a night to remember! Steve is a 30 year veteran of blues harmonica and has played at the House of Bluse in Chicago (just two weeks ago, in fact, with Melvin Taylor!). Come on down and hear some good old Blues, Folk-rock, Amercana, Roots, and more Blues, plus some original material from both Steve and I, AND Lots of Hot Tuna! (I am a HUGE Jorma Kaukonen fan and play lots of his music). On IL Route 9, four miles East of Mackinaw. Bring lawn chairs or blankets, and a picnic dinner, or purchase the ample meat/cheese plate. (Don't bring drinks - you can purchase wine, beer, and pop). $5 cover. www.mackinawvalleyvineyard.com www.stevetheharpbluesband.com C-ya 'round! David This message has been edited.
