For those of you close by, Tommy Emmanuel is playing at the Cactus Cafe on the campus of UT on September 28. The venue seats 50-75 people. Very intimate. Very cool place.

I'll already be in Austin for the ACL Music Festival at Zilker Park that weekend so I won't be able to go. But if you can make it, seeing him there would be phenomenal.

Just a heads-up,

Mike

Mike,
Thanks for the heads up. My wife and I have really enjoyed seeing Tommy at Houston's Mucky Duck on a couple of occasions.

I just went to the Catus site to check ticket availability. Turns out that he is actually playing in the Texas Union Ballroom (seats 1200), but should still be a good show. 700 tickets are still available for those wondering.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought having him at the Cafe would be too good to be true!
