This is my last day online before I head out to Odessa, Ontario for the Canadian Guitar Fest. There are concerts, workshops, and competition. The best thing about this fest, it is inexpensive but the quality is high. Concerts by Don Ross, Pierre Bensusan, Peter Finger, Don Alder, to name a few.
I'll report back when I get the chance.

Hey guys... i forgot that I never reported back about this festival... an amazing event to say the least. I read eiko's review about the Healdsburg Russian River Brewery concert and I have to chime in here about Don Alder’s performance at the Canadian Guitar Festival. It was triple cappuccino, over the top experience seeing him perform live. A truly gifted songwriter and player of the acoustic guitarist… great voice, and a really nice guy too. I was lucky enough to videotape the performance and make a DVD for him of it… I’m hoping he finds the audio and video recording to be of high enough quality to market in the future.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention the other guys there, like Don Ross, Pierre, and Peter Fingers… and a host of other top notch performers… amazing! This is like the alternative Guitar Festival for those tired of the crowds at CAAS and Winfield. The sound was great, the weather nice, and the people in Canada are so friendly.
