If you are coming:
1) Be aware that starting Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5-9 PM, and then Thursday thru Sunday during festival hours, the Wilkes Acoustic Folk Society will be sponsoring 3 jams--bluegrass, old time, anything goes--on the grounds of the festival. Tuesday and Wednesday are free, the other times one will need to have a festival ticket to get on the grounds. Come pick with us! 2) If you are bringing your Collings, let me know and we'll figure out a way to get together and trade Collings licks. B P.S. If you bring your instrument on the grounds during festival hours, there is a free and secure place to check it when you don't want to lug it around. |
