Just a heads up for any Fla memebers that would like to take in an afternoon with Pete Hutlinger.
He will be doing an "afternoon with Pete Hutlinger" in Clermont Florida on Saturday March 11th sponsored by Cornerstone Guitars.
For information contact them either on the web or by phone.
BTW, the cost is CHEAP and you are fool if you miss this.
Hope to see (and meet) some Fla forum members there.

I can't go (too far) but I encouraged my brother in Orlando to attend. He's a semi-guitar player but I guaranteed him he'll have fun. And you're right, it's dirt cheap that is so worth going. Have fun.

For those who missed it, or could not make the Hutlinger clinic/show this afternoon,
SHAME ON YOU !
You MIssed it all right. Best 8 bucks I have ever spent.
Ace, I got to meet your brother and we talked a little bit before the show. He's right, you should come visit some day.
And, I can claim that I had Pete Hutlinger sing
"happy birthday" for me today. How cool is that?

Yep, I heard it was great. My brother snapped a pic during the workshop and sent it to me on my cell. Way too funny - nothing like real time reporting from Florida. He said he met a bunch of my forum friends and that you were all cool. He's not a guitar geek like me but he totally enjoyed it. I heard he requested Pete to play "Superstition".

So Pete sang for you? Was he in tune??? Big Grin That's very cool.

I heard "Pistolero", the flat-picking champ jammed wtih Pete on a song. I bet that was fun to witness as Pete's a great flatpicker as well.

I'll be visiting soon, maybe we can hook up.

Pete and Allen did about four tunes, and it was awesome. Allen is a friend of mine, and lives just a couple hours away.
Let me know when you head this way and we will definitely hook up. I love to listen to real guitar players. LOL

BTW, Pete sounded very good in his public singing debut.

It was a great day indeed! Good to see you Rick. I sang Happy Birthday to you too, but of course Pete had better intonation than me.
