one thing everyone needs to remember when watching part one and the discussion about Collings mandolins- the blackface MT that Brad plays is an engelmann topped mando. the MF that he played has an adi top and you can hear the difference in the tone.....just my 2 and a half cents.

That was interesting. You can definitely hear the difference in the MT and MF. And they both sound good!

Thanks for that Mark...great stuff!I had to laugh because I went thru all those mandos over the years... Gibson A"s to Collings MT's to Phoenix BG,to Collings MF,etc. and it's really hard to beat a Collings MT especially if you find a good deal on a used one.
