I thought this might be a way for us to track some of the Collings mandolins that we see out there in the music world.

I’ll kick it off with the new issue of Sing Out magazine. It features a cover story on the old time band Uncle Earl. { www.uncleearl.net }. One of the mandolin players in the band is KC Groves – she plays an MT2. The article has several nice photos of KC and her Collings. She trades off mando duties with Sharon Gilchrist who plays – a Gilchrist { no relation }. Sharons other mandolin job is playing for Peter Rowans band.
