I used my guitar ToneRite on my fiddle and it helped it's tone develop.
Of course, the rubber feet on the guitar ToneRite were not an exact fit for the string spacing on my fiddle, but I got one of the rubber feet to fit in between two of the fiddle's strings so it stayed in place. I think a mandolin's string spacing is close to a fiddle's string spacing??? Do you have a guitar ToneRite? If so, I wouldn't by a separate mandolin ToneRite. Good luck! "louisiana" "louisiana" |

I second lou's thoughts. I have a guitar ToneRite that I have used on my mandos and my fiddles. So if you wind up purchasing one, you might take that into consideration, assuming you want to zap your guitars also.
BTW - I set my 'Rite on my wife's head for a few minutes; sad to say, it didn't help her tone at all! |

CC - I sincerely hope that your wife never signs on to the Forum. Probably gonna be a giant "whoops!" on your part. Jim |

Good thing about my wife is that she'd probably laugh if she read it (change that to "maybe" laugh; "hopefully" laugh?) Better thing about her is she'd never want to read anything about mandos. It's bad enough she has to hear them |
