Man, every where I go - Mary from York appears. I'm starting to search around for a used but decent big body (oversize OM, D or maybe even a Jumbo) to play some contra band and session back up in DADGAD. Got anything with a nice big voice in your stable gathering dust that you could part with to raise some dough for another mando?

rob, no more mandolins allowed in these parts for a while.....i od'd several days ago on them. anything gathering dust here has been sacrificed to the mandolin gods already.

I played that amber MT that Mary posted a link to and if I hadn't already had a great MT,that one would have come home with me.

The check is in the mail and should be here next week.

Brian did say that Alex said the back should have been on an MF5. Maybe they are just trying to spread the backs around and give it to the needy.

i think that when they make these they start out as fancier ones. sometimes there is an issue with binding or a blem somewhere and they end up as MF's and MT's.....i have a blonde MT with a one piece back and an adi top....go figger.

Eric,
She plays the violin/fiddle, but her real vice is collecting antique furniture which gives me the needed leverage to buy some of the thing I need (guitars/mandolins Big Grin). It's a win/win relationship.
