Hi Everyone,

New to the forum, but have been lurking for some time.

I have read many reviews on the MT2V/L as well as the TOB V/L mandolins.

I am interested in hearing from folks with experience in playing & hearing the different types of mandolins I have mentioned.

We all know the fit/finish/setup/etc on Collings and the Nugget/Collings products are first class. Also the playability is second to none -at least on everything I have seen or heard to this point.

So I suppose other than general tone I am wondering about the $$$$ differences between the respective 2 mandolins and their finish. Perhaps, there is a few folks that can comment on the "Nugget only" mandolins as compared to the TOB models.

Not looking for a "whats best" but rather to learn and gain knowledge about the respective mandolins. Any feed back would really be appreciated.

TIA,
eightstring
