I've heard people comment on the extra weight waverlies add, and am wondering if people who have them or have played them on an A style mando feel it effects the feel/balance, but also does it seem to have much of an effect on the tone? I'm going to be ordering an MT2 and am considering going for the upgrade, but am curious about this. Thanks.

Have them on my MT2V (with ebony buttons). Love them...wouldn't have it any other way. I don't know about "extra weight"...if there is any, its negligible and the quality of Waverlies is worth it.

I thought Waverlies had screws on the ends keeping the buttons on. Those appear to be glued on, am I mistaken?

After looking at some pictures, it appears that the f style waverlies have screws, but the A style don't.
