Tom, you want to try something for solo accompanyment you should try this Weber Octave Mando I have. It's a touch hard to play for me with the scale what it is, but the sustain just goes on forever.

IF (big IF) I can ever get my nice 2 and 3 note chords down I am gonna try and use it for that more. Last thing I did with it was a little Celtic sounding tune I wrote.
