I have noticed on the Acoustic Music Works website so of the newer Collings A-models that they have for sale are listed as having "Elite" tuners with ebony knobs. I was just wondering if anyone had any info on them or any sort of feedback on their quality. I saw them for sale on the stew-mac website and they seem like they are closer to the quality of a standard style tuner, as opposed to a $500 one like Waverly's. Are they using these instead of the Gotoh's they were using before? Or when i asked someone at the mandolin store i was told the "Elite" was just the type of Gotoh tuner, although from the Stew-mac website it seemed like the brand was Elite. Any input would be appreciated

Stewmac F elites was made to resemble the Loar baseplate and engraving. I think.
