What is the top of an MT made of? I've always assumed that it's Sitka, but having just checked out the Collings site it's described as "select spruce." Anyone know just what that might be?

Thanks,
Joe

I think the MTs are Engelman.

Engelmann. Very sweet Engelmann. Kissed daily by the sun, bathed by gentle rains and massaged by the forrest fauna.

Sorry, I couldn't stop
