I have an MT #690. Anyone know when it was made? It is really opening up lately and was just wondering, since I bought it used. Thanks.

Mostconst,

I have MT #697...bought is used in 6/05. I know it was in the store at least 6 months before I got it. So I'd say it's from late 2004.

This is a little off topic, but... I saw a 2004 MT (#600) for sale in the Mandolincafe classifieds for the very low price of $1100.00. If I had the money laying around, I'd buy it.
