Does anyone have news about the Tim model? Still wondering if any more are in production?

Thanks!

David, they are still being produced. I have # 19 made in Oct. 2005. Wonderful mandolin that I bought from Mike. Mike told me that the newest batches are finished in Varnish, of course this will come with a price increase. Contrary to some discussion, there has not been a maximum number set for this model. If you wanted one, I would recommend getting on the list of a few dealers and also getting on Mike's list. Mine is responsive, full and very Nuggety. Tracy Curtis

Thanks Bass
I have a deposit with mandolin bros for "right of refusal". Third in line there. I am also on the list with Sandy at Great Divide, but really have no idea what he'll offer. I guess I'll call Mike too.

Thanks!

One for sale in the mandolincafe classifieds, though I don't agree with the "new" description. Seems to me if it leaves the store its no longer new.

Just thought I'd bump this topic.
Does anyone have news about the O'Brien model?

And does anyone have a Collings archtop for trade?

#19 is up for sale at The Mandolin Store...Why did you decide to put it up for sale...For those who have never bought from Dennis at TMS, he's a great guy...Bought a couple of mandos from him and would give him '2 thumbs' up to deal with...

I am fortunate to own #14. The Nugget/Collings Tim O'Brien Model has ruined me! I travel to music stores all over the Ohio River Valley and no Collings A or F model can hold a candle to the tone and volume this instrument contains. Since 05' this instrument continues to open up. I wake up everyday excited about music.
