Is there someplace to sign up or do I just show up?
I am an Austinite and am visiting the forum for the first time after speaking with Kevin at HCG on Saturday.

Jeff - You've just signed up. We're a pretty informal group. Just show up about noon on Friday at the Salt Lick. We'll all be meeting there for some barbecue and picking before heading over to the plant for the tour. We would love to have you join us. See you there!

I am pretty sure that I will show up for at least most of the day on Friday. I don't currently own a Collings although I have owned a couple in the recent past and have done an informal version of the Collings tour a few times. I may buy another Collings down the road but need to liquidate some guitar inventory first.

Well, looks like I'm driving to the event (from Phoenix) unless a last minute cheap fare pops up. Long crappy ride, but the upside is that I can bring some geetars with me (and a uke, of course). Y'all will have plenty of Collings stuff around so maybe I need to bring some other brands - he he.

Geez, did I just write "Y'all" ? Guess I'm a little excited. I'll swing by and pick up Al at the airport. Jersey accent meets NY accent. You probably won't be hearing either of us using our fake texas drawl ...

Should be getting there Thursday lunch-ish time. See y'all then ...

Since I was born in Houston and lived and played in various Texas cities before moving to Colorado, the drawl you hear from me won't be fake. 10 minutes and I will sound like I never left!

Dave....swing by and pick me up and I will keep you company on the long drive.
