I have a bunch of my home recording MP3 files posted over a AG, including a new recording of Silent Night, first on Nylon strings and also on steel strings. Let me know if you find anything you like.

Just gave a listen to the 2 versions of Silent Night....Very nice!!! I really liked the sound with the nylon strings. And, was that your OM-3C on the steel strings?
And here I am still struggling to nail down the version of Silent Night in my "A Fingerstyle Guitar Christmas" song book, which is considerably simpler than what you're doing there. You just encouraged me to get in there and start practicing! Ken |

Yes, it was the Collings OM for the steel string version. I think the Nylon strings have it for this tune, but I do love the sound of my Collings.
This version of Silent Night was from TAB that a friend gave me. He says it's a Chet Atkins arrangement. For me, the hard part was keeping the flow. None of it is particularly hard to play, but getting a smooth consistent flow has been my biggest challenge. It's a great song and I like almost any version of it. Thanks for listening! |
