About a year ago I sold off my OM1A to a Taiwanese buyer Chi.. He sent me a video clip with him playing Tommy Emmaunual's Mombasa with the OM1A.. I have never hear my OM1A sound soo good!!

Heres the CLIP! Now.. I wish I still have the OM1A..

Good player! Great guitar! See! See what you would be playing if you just kept that guitar and practiced? Smile

Not only is this guy a good player, but I just noticed he uses hybrid picking, like I do. I always hold a flatpick, even when I finger pick.

If you haven't, seek out the video of Tommy E. playing this tune. It's on the "Live at Sheldon Hall" DVD and it's fabulous!

I am still wokring on this tune...I just cannot do it hybrid...so regular finger picking.

Any suggestion on getting used to a hybrid picking? I just started copying "those who wait". Slower tune, so bit easier i thougt.
