I just had one of those end of the weekend kickin' sessions when you are dead on everything you play. I was playing Sam McGee's classic "Railroad Blues" on my OO-2H. What a way to end the weekend, classic early American song on a premier American guitar.

As I placed the OO-2H back in it's case, I remembered an early photograph of Sam McGee holding what appears to be a OO-28. Now I have heard a ton of Sam McGee's songs but I am not sure what guitar he may have recorded with. When I think of the photograph and the OO he was holding, I wonder if he had played "Railroad Blues" on that particular guitar (I assume the original recorded version). Then I wonder if my little OO-2H sounds anything like the guitar in the photograph. Just some thoughts....

Anyway, what a way to end a weekend, playing some wonderful music on my favorite box!
