Here's a pic from a little holiday lunch concert I gave at work yesterday. As you can see, the audience are all on the edge of their seats! Smile

Touching. Very touching. At least they're far enough away that they aren't drooling on your guitar as they nod off. I"ve had more than one bar gig that looked pretty much like that!

Ok, you guys are giving my WAY too much sympathy. I have to come clean. I staged the shot. Big Grin They're all buddies of mine. When I saw the camera come out I leaned forward and said "Act like you're a sleep!" - they were pretty darn quick!

Actually, there were more people out of camera range and all were very attentive.

David

I feel betrayed and violated by this staged event...Actually, it's still funny as hell!

Bar gig is one thing, but when I’m playing a coffeehouse and people are jacked up on caffeine and they still have this reaction to my music, then I must reconsider. Frown

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

You what??? Mad
Actually, I knew that coz I could see someone with one eye open. Wait a minute, that was you! Oh well. Were you in the middle of playing when this staged incident occured?

It's nice to have support for your music from people at work. Some of my co-workers come to some of my gigs once in a while, without my forcing them to go. I just pay them afterwards...

That's the difference between me and dberch. I wouldn't have had to stage the shot!!

Yep, playing my song "Serenity" often puts me to sleep. Every one around me, too. Now I have proof! Smile

I prefer a sleeping audience to a hostile one.
