I'm interested in getting a good book to learn bluegrass crosspicking. I've seen lots of books for sale, but don't know which one is considered the "best." Any help would be appreciated.
Steve Kaufman's stuff is always great. Go to www.flatpik.com and search for crosspick. He has one book dedicated to this subject. That said, it ain't hard, it just takes about a year of practicing it slowly at first, and increasing speed as your proficiency improves. It's more a "feel" than a technique.

Thanks,

Buy a George Shuffler or James Shelton CD. Most of the stuff on the Shuffler CD is pretty easy once you can get the pattern up to speed. Good Luck
