Hi

I have been playing guitar for a year now and would like to learn Classical Gas. I have seen the Tommy Emmanuel version and was blown away. I am of a good standard considering I am self taught... (I can play note perfect versions of most Led Zeppelin tunes and I love playing my acoustic)

The two things I am having trouble with are:

1) the bass notes in the e string 8th 7th and 5th fret run

2) the timing of the bass notes in the rest of the tune

Has anyone got any ideas on how to improve on my technique or even have any stories on how they have learnt/are learning the tune

I look forward to viewing any responses

Thanks

Vaughan

Hi Vaughan,

Juz saw yr hope, hope I'm not too late in this. There is no tablature available in books except this link fm the OZ website. Its not 100% accurate but it hv the right key & basis fingerings to start with. If u manage to figure out the entire song, don't forget to teach me Wink
