The only music I have found skips most of the cello solo. Anybody have any hints for this type of music?

Bruce, YOUTUBE the song!

"You know you have a problem when the box you put your guitar in, costs more than the box you'll eventually put yourself in."

Hi Kerry,

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't find any cello sheet music, either this time or in my previous perusals of YouTube. There are some nice examples of cello performances, including Ariana Arcu playing with the otherwise mediocre Scorpions, which was what got me interested in trying to play this with the cellists in my family in the first place.

A more advanced cellist could transcribe the music from one of these, but that is beyond those in my family.

As a result of your suggestion I did find one priceless gem that I had missed before - Will Ferrell's version. "You're my boy blue."

Thanks again.

Bruce, I'm sure you could take a crack at transcribing it. I know it takes a lot of practice to teach your ear to do it, so. Personally, I don't know how to read at all, and it this is about the only way I learn new pieces. Don't say you cant do it if you don't even want to try. You are a talented guy! Take a crack at it and suprise your family!... KK...

Hi Kerry,

Thanks for your encouraging advice. The kid's cello teacher said she will help. If it works out I will let you know.

Bruce,

If your cello teacher can't do it, let me know. I'm sure I could pick it out on the piano in no time, play it via MIDI, and output the sheet music.
