All,

I am looking for a Guitar Instructor in Houston. In particular I am looking for one who offers private lessons for intermediate/advanced lessons focusing on flatpicking and fingerstyle. I play mostly blues but I am venturing in to bluegrass and folk. Does anyone have any reccomendations?

I strongly recommend either Bobby Nichols or Kelly Lancaster. Bobby if you're more insterested in building your repertoir and specific skills, and Kelly if you want to expand your knowledge of theory and improvisation. Both are great guys to know. Shoot me a PM if you'd like their numbers.

Either of them would be great. We just got back this afternoon from a nice long lesson with Kelly. This was a mando lesson for my 14 yr old son, Sam, and it was one of the best lessons Sam has ever had. It is never easy to pin Kelly down for a definite appointment, but it is worth it.
