After browsing the selection of instructional DVDs at my local shop, I thought it might a good idea to solicit a DVD swap. Sure beats spending $30 per disc.

I don't want to clutter the WTB section with these posts, but I'm curious if anyone would have interest in this idea?

I've got a DVD called Pick Power by Paul Mehling that I have probably gotten all I'm going to out of. More info here. I might trade for other flatpick oriented dvds.

An idea: we create a DVD/CD/book swap club here.

My wife belongs to one on the interwebs for books. You list all your books that you want to swap. If someone wants one, you send it to them for free (and pay shipping). If you see one in someone else's list, you email them, and they send it to you, no cost to you. They have a thing that keeps track of who's sent what, so that someone doesn't get a bunch of books and not send anyone else anything in return.

This is it: www.paperbackbookswap.com

Maybe we could something similar, but simpler, here? I have a number of things I'd like to swap.

Something along those lines would be fine with me.

I have books, mags, CDs, and DVDs coming out the hind end. Most will never see the light of day again unless I can pass them along.

I might be interested in participating if we can figure out a good way to keep track of things.

I'm in. If books and DVDs alone made you a better guitarist, I'd be Segovia!

I don't have a lot, but I've got some.

So please include me also...I would love to see what might be available for swapping. Sounds like a great way to get more exposure to many techniques and more geetar information.

Thanks,
Michael

Best,
MRT
