any body played or own one ? your thoughts on how the madagascar sounds comparied to EIR ?

I have a "Sig" dread in Maddie and Adi that was built as first prize at the 2006 new England flatpicking championships. a good friend of mine won it, NO not me.
VERY nice guitar, with a nice even tone that for some reason is very compelling. But I don't have an EIR Bourgie I could compare it to. The Bourgie is not as loud or "in your face" as my Collings dreads have been. Doesn't have that "cut" to it like a good D1A or CW etc. But for solo playing I preferred it to the Collings. Very well made and solid guitar, with maybe a softer and sweeter tone than the jam focus of a Collings. DS 3 Braz 000 1 G MF Mando MT 2 O |
