No apologies for my unabashed love of Rockbridge guitars (me and most everyone who's had a chance to play one), but this has got to be one of the prettiest ones I've ever seen:

Good gosh. Not a Collings-style burst, but just so pretty. Especially with the understated headstock. This is Bob Minner from Tim McGraw's band.

Don't get your hopes up too much on that burst Slope Andrew has.
Let's just say it already has travel plans.

Come on, give us some details. What kind of burst? When's it due? Any fancy stuff?

Homer, I have not even seen it yet. Nothing special in the order, not a custom order.
Just good ole Hog and Adi.
I'm told the burst is not as dark as the one done for Minner.

It's here, and it's stunning in person. The pics don't do it justice at all, especially the burst.
Letting the new strings stretch and settle in, but so far it sounds about as good as it looks.

WOO HOO !

I just received a long (21 months) awaited Rockbridge and will try to get some photos up.

It is an SJ, Adirondack with mahogany, all trimmed in curly koa with maple strip, no inlay. I own 13 guitars (4 Collings, 2 Goodalls, a Proulx, an old Martin, an old Gibson, and a few others). The Rockbridge is the most different feeling and sounding guitar of the bunch. There is something about the combination of scale length (25 inch), the bracing (tall Gibson-like), and the fat neck that makes it my easiest guitar to play and most responsive. It is also light as a feather. I love it. The workmanship is spectacular. If you can get on Randall and Brian's list, do it. You will not be disappointed. Some of the nicest guys as well.
