I picked up this Bourgeois Soloist about a month ago:

It was simply too good a guitar not to take home with me. I'd gone in to look at a short scale Slope D (also a Bourgeois) and while a fine guitar, it paled next to the Soloist. The guitar has nice fat trebles, a powerful midrange, and a solid, clear bass. It's highly responsive to both light and heavy playing and reacts quickly to the slightest nuances of technique. It really is a special guitar -- which it needed to be, as I already had three other OMs at home (a Tippin, a Franklin, and a Schoenberg/Bourgeois Soloist). Dana really knows how to voice an OM!

He's also got, as mentioned above, some beautiful timber:

Had a chance to play the Brazilian dread from the Nashville NAMM show, and a "Banjo Killer" with beautiful sunburst top over the weekend. Both outstanding guitars - the Braz D had the resonance, throaty thump and power you'd expect, while the "BK" projected even more, with a very dry, woody, airy tone.

Although I have to say, I didn't like either one more than my D2G.
