Cowboy, if you're ever in the bay area, email me and you're welcome to come over and play awhile. I may take the Blazer to Jackson Hole with me late this summer, going back to our spiritual home in the mountains. We'll be on Antelope Flats toward the end of August. If it's not the Blazer, it'll be the CJA, which ain't chopped livah. It's my favorite large bodied guitar ever (and a band mate has- this is no overstatement- 14 or 15 Collings dreads, including a sweet custom D1A I sold him when I got the CJA. I'm an OM guy, mostly. Except for the C10 and the CJ. Yes, I'm certifiable, but then so are many who post herein. thanks tom

Certifiable Tom....yes,I hear ya son.Too bad we're at opposite ends of the great USofA. It might be more likely that you'd be in PA someday than me ever getting to the Bay area or Jackson Hole. But, I feel your pleasure...CJA....has a certain ring to it.

I bought $3.5K guitar online from private person after seeing his add on one of the forums. The guitar was made by "one of the greatest luthier" and i believed it was well worth of investement. When the guitar arrived it had a crack that seller told wasn't there when he shipped the guitar. The crack looked a lot older. Since guitar was well packed and no damage anywhere i believe it had been there already before shipping. Seller didn't want to take it back so i end up keeping the guitar that after all had very good sound.

Few weeks later i found out that guitar was almost impossible the tune. Later i found out that it was because of bad fretjob. Believe or not, but the frets were not at the correct place - this was confirmed by another guitar repair person. Next thing i noticed was the neck became loose. The cluing had somehow dried up. After that i contacted the maker who promised to fix the guitar for free. Nice i thought but it took almost six months to get guitar back and few lies from makers telling me that the guitar will ship in next week. At last the guitar arrived and the repairs were made but using minimal effort so to speak.
