Carter, I think only you can decide that. I'd be severely annoyed if it were basically advertised as ding free and it came like that, primarily because with poor disclosure like that (i.e., flat-out lying) I'd be concerned about other issues. Don't know how much recourse you have, though, since it was an eBay purchase. I definitely would talk to the seller if it were me.

I have not called anyone a liar. I did not want to disclose who the seller is. HE did step up and apologized and gave me three choices. Return it for refund. Get it fixed by his luthier repair guy. Give me back $200 for the dents. He also apologized right off the bat. "HE" IS a very stand up guy!!! No complaints about him.
Cheers all

My apologies, all the way around. Kevin is one of the best of the best and obviously is working with Carter to fix the situation in a mutually agreeable fashion. I'll also note that this purely was a rush to judgment (a particularly bad one) on my part -- based on some bad experiences I've had on eBay. My apologies, again, all the way around.

Hey, guys. Before this thread continues, let me say that this whole thing was my fault. This came in in-trade from a regular of mine. When it arrived, I was in full-on construction chaos around here. I opened it, did a quick look and strum, assuming it was in better condition than it was, and didn't look the guitar over as well as I should. Then proceeded to post it, sell it and ship it.
I've obviously rectified the situation with Carter.
Again, it was my fault and I've fixed the situation.
