Yes and its the perfect guitar to compliment my Collings om2hE. Totally different beasts. The dred really sings on certain things and the Collings really sings on soft fingerstyle stuff.
I am blessed to have such amazing guitars now the GAS is over......I think....
I'll give it a try. I've heard Bourgeois' described as more mellow or sweeter sounding than Collings. I missed having a rosewood dred so I grabbed a Vintage D. The advantage of a Collings might be more volume, but for playing around the house I really like the tone of the Bourgeois. Also, the woods Dana uses are outstanding. The red spruce he gets is as good as I've seen.

I dont have a Collings Dred. But I compared the two at Mandolin bros. A few weeks ago. I really liked the Bourgeois because I also do fingerstyle stuff on the dred and it sounded a bit warmer. THey were pretty close though. Where can I post a mp3 of the Bourgeois? I just recorded with it and it sounds pretty smokin!!! Cheers
I found some dings on my guitar that was supposed to have no dings or dents do you guys think I am being unreasonable? Check the pics. "No dings or dents just some swirling in the finish I can buff out." Thats what the seller said? Check pics
