No, but babel fish does (for the most part anyway - interesting how Jim Merrill is "gym"):

"NEW, sunburst and the small jumbo body, アディロンダックスプルース, フィガードメイプルサイドバック, フィガードメイプルネック and 20F specification, ベッ shell handle pick guard and Gotoh peg, スキャロップブレーシング, the small May pulling bridge plate, アメリテージハードケース 30 age Martin's サウンドリメイク is done Model C which, Model OM the Merill guitar of large extolment. This JM-185 model is プロトモデル which the inscription vessel "J-185" which was made in 50 age of Gibson リメイク is done, while (researching original J- 185, because it has produced, nearly approximately 2 years it is required to for completion). In the top the フィガードメイプル material where the grain is beautiful is used in アディロンダックスプルース and the side back. フィガードメイプル is used also the neck, has become short scale specification. Nut width 43mm, U Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers, europe neck. While leaving テイスト of Gibson 50 age ヴィンテージ that way, it develops as the guitar of finger type of today. Because of プロトモデル, presently only this one it is produced, (future production still is undecided). As for Gibson J-185 as for stroke of course, it is appraised as the guitar which matches to also finger picking best, but also this JM-185 is finished just in that kind of sound. With the sound where the core which the May pulling guitar seems is thick, there is a forcibleness. Balance is splendid also the volume impression the sufficient. The body sounding it is splendid, as expected Merill! ! It can correspond from the delicate finger picking sound whose texture with weak touch is detailed to strong flat picking. Sound of usual vintage Martin type with the sound which is different completely, 50 age vintage Gibson we put out "tasty tone" well, it is the attractive guitar which admires freshly in ability as a gym Merill's production house."

That clarifies everything perfectly.

Cheap thrills maybe, but I love how poorly-translated Japanese reads in English. Not laugh out loud funny, but chuckle to yourself funny.

Merrill are building some great vintage gibson style guitars lately, as we have witnessed on a previous posting of a J45 style.
I spoke to Jim on the phone today about building a C-18 for "yours truly" and I found him to be most helpful and knowledgeable about guitar making, giving me his perspective on some much talked about topics. A thorough gentleman as well.

SHAPE was the acronym for the top Allied military command structure in Europe, in WWII. I think Eisenhower's position was the head of SHAPE.

"U Shape neck" Translated from English to Japanese to English Big Grin
