Bought a new Huss and Dalton custom CM koa with a red cedar top. To me it seems about the best finger picker I've ever played. Totally clean and clear. Up front sound with crisp highs and lows. Amazing to me. I also own a Collings OM Brazilian with an adi top. Also an excellent finger picker but not quite as clear. Maybe it just needs a bit more time to open up.
I have an EI/Adi CM. I'm sure it sounds different than your Koa/Cedar, but I agree that it's clean, clear and crisp...and a beautiful instrument too. Though I don't fingerpick it.

Thanks Eric for the info. It never fails to amaze me how different each instrument is. I think my Koa/cedar combo is fantastic as is your indian/adi. So much fun talking about and playing so many different choices.
Hey Bill, I've owned a noncutaway CM in BRW/Eng for several years and love it. The cedar/koa combination is something I've been GASing for after playing a C-10 with those woods. Any chance we can see some pictures of that guitar?
Cheers, Will
It's been said that growing old is realizing you'll never have all the dogs or guitars you want.
Hey Ten Thumbs, You can see pics of it at acousticmusicworks.com. He keeps descriptions and such for a long time after a purchase. I'm sure you will easily navigate his site. Not hard to find. Good luck!
