Nice one. Reminds me of seeing Blind Faith at The Garden on July 12th, 1969, when it was new and there was a revolving stage in the middle of the basketball floor. Free opened, followed by Delaney & Bonnie and Friends then Blind Faith. Even in that venue they were VERY good. Ginger Baker climbed behind his drums and took his boots off and threw them into the crowd. They played the whole album and added a few more songs from Cream and Traffic that I don't recall at the moment. A memorable show and this was the tour where Clapton hooked up with Delaney and Bonnie and eventually recorded his first solo album with them. Then he formed Derek and The Dominoes with their rhythm section.
I had the honor of seeing Traffic and Cream and various Clapton permutations after that, but never Stevie and Eric together. I've loved this song (Can't find My Way) since '69, and have been playing an approximation of it, often as a gig closer, ever since. wow. thanks so much. tom
I've seen Clapton on four different occasions, but my first experience was, I believe, in 1990. I just picked up a couple of floor seats for the Dallas show with Winwood.
Man, I haven't heard this song in so long, kinda makes me feel sad as it reminds me a bit of so much wasted time as a youth. Nevertheless, I sure did love it.

Had the treat of seeing E.C. back in the mid seventies in Nashville when he was with Yvonne Elliman."461 Ocean Blvd."&"There's One In Every Crowd",always been some of my favorites of his ever since. He had for a warm up Don Williams solo,it was a great show.If you are a Winwood fan like myself you should check out the PBS dvd Sound Stage presents Steve Winwood, and "About Time"cd.
I saw him sit in with Buddy Guy's band at the new orleans house, Berkeley, 1967, the same week Cream debuted at the Fillmore. right there with my Son House experience as the best blues night ever. Mercy.

You mean the song or the wasted time as a youth?
