Randy, thanks for sharing that link. It also brings you to Danny, Albert Lee and Vince Gill trading solos on "One Way Rider". Some awesome pickin going on.

+1 on that! Jerry rocks! Some of his best acoustic playing can be found on the double CD: "Me and Chet / Me and Jerry"

So many songs, so little time...

Everyone knows about Don Rich, Buck Owens' musical partner, but to really hear him, you must listen to the deep album tracks, not just the hits. Don's collection on Sundazed CD's is a good place to start. They've also rereleased Buck's early albums, which are very strong.

+1

I got the Don Rich anthology about a year ago. There are some great videos of Buck and Don on youtube. The guitar playing is sublime, but those high harmonies are even better.

Yep. Don's singing is as strong as Buck's, both lead and harmony.

Larry Keel. Great flatpicker with raspy vocals and fresh ideas.

Eric Taylor, the best songwriter I'll ever hear, and no slouch on the guitar either.

Agree with Steve Q, Larry Keel is a major talent in acoustic music. I've had the priviledge of pickin with him a time or time or two and he is a super down to earth guy as well. Check out Larry Keel, Virginia's finest, if you can. His band, Natural Bridge, is first rate as well. Cheers, Chuck
