They would think that we love to eat these four-legged creatures that like to lay around in their own s&%t and that we build wooden boxes with long pieces of metal attached and then we hit the pieces of metal and sing about the creatures that we love to eat.

And that there is this famous human, called El Jefe, that likes to eat the creatures and sing about them at the same time . . .

Other potential numbers for your repertoire: Goodbye Pork Pie Hat; The Rain, the Pork, etc...; MacArthur Pork; Sow Long, Frank Lloyd Wright [think about it]; Lower on the Hog; (Hickory) Smoke Gets in Your Eyes; Grill of My Dreams. I'll provide some other links when I get the chance.

And they might even try to abduct their lost "Alien" if they can locate someplace called Sonoma.

I live about 4 hours from Roswell NM so we're familiar with our little buddies buzzing around at night.

If you wear an aluminum foil helmet, it helps deflect their probings.

On Saturday night after my 1st gig I placed an order for some Bar-B-Q sandwiches, beans and tater salad to go and asked if he had any whole wheat buns. He looked at me like a mule looking at a new gate.

The owner took my pay in trade for food. I still owned him about $7.50.

But, I tell people I'm a professional musician.

El Jefe: At $5.85/hour minimum wage, you should get about $1.46 for your 15 minutes. That should get you at least a partial order of baked beans. Technically speaking, you are indeed a true professional . . .

If you join the musician's union, you can probably up the ante to a full order of beans. If you eat them before the performance, make sure your mic isn't set to omni-directional.

I was going to do Ricky Skaggs version of Pig in a Pen with the Boston Pops backing him up and do that lip-sync thing, but I made to much fun of Milli Vanilli. It was going to be my encore song.

I thought everybody was watching me during Saturday night's gig but I think they were looking at the big screen tv with the NBA playoff halftime show.

Thinking about seeing if this kid is available for a duet of Pig in a Pen.
